San Jacinto College provides an opportunity for people to obtain their goals at no cost through the Adult Education and Literacy Grant. These opportunities include:

English as a Second Language (ESL)

GED & High School Equivalency Courses

San Jac is a great place to prepare for the GED and other high school equivalency exams.

Internationally Trained Professionals (ITP)

Students who completed a Bachelor's Degree or higher in another country wanting to learn more about educational and employment systems in the United States.

All students must present a government-issued, valid picture ID (Driver’s license, Passport, State ID).
Be 19 years of age or older.
If you are 18, you may be accepted with an official withdraw from public school OR completion information and consent from parent.
If you are 17, you may be accepted with official withdraw from public school and consent from parent.
If you are 16, you may be accepted with court order.

Register for your course online. Each course schedule will only show available classes in that instructional area. Begin the registration process by selecting the course schedule that interests you.
