Your Questions Answered

Big decision, simple answers. Let’s clear it up.
Emergency Medical Services focuses on providing emergency medical care to people experiencing illness or injury. EMS professionals provide critical care during emergencies and often serve as the first healthcare providers on the scene. Their work helps save lives and support patients during urgent medical situations.

Graduates may work as Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), paramedics, emergency response professionals, or other EMS providers in ambulances, hospitals, fire departments, and emergency agencies.

For more than 49 years, San Jac has prepared EMS professionals for success. We offer training for Texas Level 2 and Level 4 EMS certifications.

Level 2: Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Basic ICLC prepares you for Level 2 EMT certification. You'll learn patient assessment, basic airway management, oxygen therapy, bleeding control, splinting, and CPR.
